Abstract

No discipline can exist without antecedents. All science is on the move, every science is looking for answers and thus evolving. These answers are built on each other and this raises new questions. Development is unstoppable. To better understand the problems of the present age, we must look back and learn from these answers.

The focus of the present study is also on the milestones, tools, and toolkits that have significantly influenced the development of information security.

In this study, we examined the history of the development of information security, in the framework of which we reviewed a significant event of the 20th and 21st centuries that can be highlighted from the point of view of information security, and the answers given to it.
