Impact of coronavirus epidemic on the global supply chain

Abstract

The coronavirus epidemic has highlighted the complexity of international supply chains and their cross-border dependency system, as well as the fragility of global supply chains. In the recent period, a lot of new challenges and unforeseen problems have made the daily lives of the players in the logistics sector difficult. The new changed environment required quick solutions. It highlighted some problems and challenges to be solved. The aim of this study is to explore the main reasons for supply chain fragility and how global supply chains have been affected by recent actions and current events.
