Risk management in case of monocrystalline solar power plant using risk assessment matrix
Abstract
Solar panels and solar power plants are quite widespread and play an important role in renewable electricity generation. Examining the global solar cell market, the
monocrystalline solar cells occur for the most part. It is important to consider the upcoming risks involved before strating installation work and during operation. The basic purpose of risk management is to protect the condition of assets and reduce the likelihood of loss, thereby increasing the efficiency of the system. After identifying the risks, the areas that require more attention to maintain safe operation are identified. Nevertheless, it makes it easier to develop a risk mitigation strategy after realizing the risks. Taking into consideration that the monocrytalline solar cell has high dominance in the domestic and international solar market, it is important to examine the possible risks of a monocrystalline solar power plant in general and the possbile motogation strategy for high risks are considered.
