Methodology of systematic literature review

Abstract

Systematic literature review has become an increasingly widespread method and a key tool for scientific research. In this context, the purpose of this methodological article is to comprehensively present the basic steps of systematic literature analysis, as well as guidelines and steps that help researchers write systematic and comprehensive literature reviews. The article emphasizes the basic principles of the methodology and the steps to be followed, starting from the definition of the research questions, the development of the search strategy and the collection of data, and the evaluation and presentation of the results. The study also draws attention to the main differences between systematic and narrative literature reviews, thus helping to understand the methodology of systematic literature analysis. Overall, this methodological article helps researchers with the successful implementation of systematic literature review and its application in their research field.
