Artificial Intelligence in Crime Prevention and Counter-Terrorism
Abstract
The integration of artificial intelligence and facial recognition technologies into modern security frameworks represents a significant leap forward in our ability to identify potential threats, to take preventive measures, and therefore to enhance public safety and security. As threats posed by criminals and suspected terrorists continue to evolve, increasingly sophisticated countermeasures are required to combat the risks posed by such threats. By analysing vast amounts of data in real-time, artificial intelligence can detect patterns that suggest illegal activities, while face recognition can identify individuals of interest without them suspecting surveillance. Furthermore, with rapid evolution and broad applicability within both physical and cybersecurity, these technologies enable continuous improvement, ensuring that security measures follow the recent technological advancement, artificial intelligence and face recognition play crucial roles in mitigating security risks and offering an effective way to counter the threat of terrorism, making them an important component of the global effort to maintain safety in an increasingly complex and digital world.
