Abstract

This article aims to provide a brief overview of the development of biometric identification solutions over the past decade. At the same time, the development of the legal environment is typically presented in the European Union and Hungary, but the international regulatory framework is also mentioned. A more in-depth look at state-of-the-art procedures and technologies regulatory influencing processes and societal attitudes that hinder or support diffusion.
